Guía de certificación de sistemas de gestión de la calidad: ISO 9001: 2015


La Norma ISO 9001 elaborada por la Organización Internacional para la Normalización (ISO) determina los requisitos para un Sistema de Gestión de la Calidad (SGC), que pueden utilizarse para su aplicación interna por las organizaciones.

ISO (International Standard Organization) es un organismo independiente, no gubernamenta, que reúne actualmente a 162 miembros de distintos países alrededor del mundo. Este organismo inició su actividad tras la Segunda Guerra Mundial (febrero 1947) en donde delegados de 25 países se reunieron en Inglaterra para coordinar y unificar estándares mundiales.

En septiembre de 2015 se publicó y entró en vigor la versión 2015 de la ISO 9001. Todas las organizaciones certificadas con la versión 2008 han tenido que actualizar su certificación antes de septiembre de 2018.
