Equipamiento de Urgencias en el ámbito de una consulta de Medicina Estética


La consulta de medicina estética es un establecimiento sanitario en el que se llevan a cabo determinados procedimientos no invasivos y mínimamente invasivos. No consideramos los procedimientos medianamente invasivos o invasivos al precisar estos, al menos, de la acreditación de quirófano de cirugía ambulatoria, cuando no la realización de los mismos en un centro hospitalario.

La predisposición de nuestros pacientes (mayor o menor grado de aprehensión, fobia a la sangre o a las agujas), el dolor causado en los procedimientos, la administración de medicamentos (anestésicos locales, agentes esclerosantes, analgésicos…) y productos sanitarios (materiales de relleno, suturas, preparados para mesoterapia, peelings…) pueden conllevar, con más o menos frecuencia y con mayor o menor gravedad, la presentación de cuadros de urgencia o emergencia médica.
