Dislipemias 2017: recomendaciones de la Asociación Americana de Endocrinología Clínica


La prevención de las enfermedades cardiovasculares obliga inexcusablemente a abordar la detección y el tratamiento de los principales factores de riesgo, entre los que –sin ningún género de dudas- las dislipemias son protagonistas. Sin hiperlipemia es difícil encontrar lesiones vasculares arterioscleróticas.

Recientemente, las principales organizaciones científicas internacionales han mostrado los fundamentos de este abordaje clínico de las dislipemias: American HeartAssociation, American College of Cardiology, European Atherosclerosis Society, European Society of Cardiology, NICE, International Atherosclerosis Society, etc.

Quizás la aportación más reciente, de este mismo año, ha sido la Guía de Práctica Clínica publicada por la American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists y el American Colege of Endocrinology.

El objetivo de las presentes recomendaciones es trasladar al lector de forma sintética y sumaria aquellas que se incluyen en dicha Guía de Práctica Clínica.
