Cómo elegir un ácido hialurónico para utilización en Medicina Estética


El ácido hialurónico es el material más usado en Medicina Estética, tanto como material de relleno dérmico, como para hidratación y estimulación a nivel de piel y mucosas.

Este producto juega numerosos roles en los tejidos normales, pero también se ha implicado en los procesos inflamatorios, múltiple resistencia a los medicamentos, angiogénesis, tumorogénesis, homeostasis de agua y viscoelasticidad alterada de la matriz extracelular (1).

En la actualidad disponemos de un amplísimo número de modificaciones en la estructura del ácido hialurónico nativo, que nos llevan a pensar que, de la molécula de origen a la final, hay modificaciones considerables que debemos conocer para elegir el más adecuado para la función en la que va a ser utilizado.

El objetivo de esta recomendación de experto es poner en evidencia los parámetros que tenemos que conocer de un producto inyectable de ácido hialurónico, antes de su utilización, para obtener la máxima eficacia y seguridad en función de la zona a tratar y el efecto deseado, sin olvidar que el resultado final dependerá no solo del producto utilizado, sino también de nuestros conocimientos y habilidades y de la respuesta del receptor.
